Our Journey
The story of J & A STEREO+ is intertwined with the personal audio journey of Brent, one of the store owners, whose passion for sound sparked at age of 13. Brent's early career was rooted in electronic repairs, which naturally led him to the original J & A STEREO store on 4th Avenue, where he honed his skills and eventually ventured into vehicle installations and beyond. His journey took a pivotal turn in 2001, leading to the creation of Blake Productions, a name that became synonymous with audio, video, and lighting for over two decades in Prince George.
The Evolution
The pandemic presented challenges but also an opportunity for Brent to revisit his first love - home audio. This reflection period birthed J & A STEREO+, a concept that evolved into a reality, symbolizing not just a store, but a hub for audio excellence and innovation. The '+' signifies our expanded offerings, encompassing repairs, commercial installations, and uniquely, custom audio solutions by Brent Blake Customs - a testament to our commitment to quality and personalization.
